The Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) of Western Australia has officially initiated a new rate for its benchmark reserve capacity prices (BRCPs). Priced at AU$360,700/MW (US$224,898/MW) each year from the financial year 2027-28, this peaks as a record surge against previous rates.
