The eminent solar energy technology giant, Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd., widely recognized for its unmatched monocrystalline PV cells and premier Gamma Series Monofacial along with Vega Series Bifacial PV modules, proudly announces that its production sprint is unravelling effectively. By mid-2025, production is expected to go full-throttle at their cutting-edge manufacturing plant, conveniently located in Greenville, North Carolina.
Capital pieces of equipment for the ambitious project have been successfully gathered at the site, and more than half is already in place, en route to the shop floor. The remaining equipment is planned to be set up by January ending 2025, with the integral, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) connections slated for February. This marks an extraordinary checkpoint in the genesis of Boviet Solar's first-ever production core in North America and serves to fortify their resolve to push the boundaries of renewable energy sector in the United States.

Bolstered by a $294 million investment, the Greenville hub will predominantly be engaged in the manufacturing of Boviet Solar's elite Gamma Series Monofacial and Vega Series™ Bifacial PV modules, levying the revolutionary N-Type solar cell technology.
Phase I: The primary focus will be on module manufacturing with a substantial output of 2.0 GW of solar panels annually. The grand start of mass production is planned for the first half of 2025. Phase II: Advancements are in full-swing and land clearance along with stump removal has been completed in December 2024. Mass grading will be initiated in January 2025. The second phase will introduce the production of high-efficacy solar cells, thereby refining the facility's capabilities. The commencement of mass production is scheduled for the early half of 2026.
Upon full functionality, the PV module and PV cell manufacturing sites are projected to stimulate approximately 908 professional local jobs, thereby stimulating regional economic growth and catering to the rising demand for clean and sustainable energy options.
